念のため電気屋さんに
「ヤールー(ヤモリ)が室外機に入らないように
するにはどうすればいい？」と聞くと
「室外機をバンバン叩くことくらいですかね。」
実際やってみたけど、追い払えずまたブレーカーがバチン

そこで思い出したのが、数ヶ月前の沖縄タイムスの記事
やんばるの小さな商店にあった不思議な貼り紙

ネット検索で調べてみたら
ヤモリの被害を訴える人の声に応えるために
試行錯誤を重ねてヤモリを寄せ付けないアロマ
(忌避剤)を作っている人がおられ
使った人から「この薬はすごい！」と
反響が寄せられてるとのこと

しかも記事をよく読んでみると
製造者の西村さんの連絡先まで書いてある
早速お電話すると、とっても親切な方で
なんと「読谷村にも取り扱い店舗ありますよ！」と


はい、すぐに買いに行きましたとも
しかも室外機の中になんとか取り付けると
これが効果てきめん
それ以来まったくブレーカーが落ちることは無いのです

"Is there any way to prevent geckos
from getting into the outdoor unit?''
I asked the electrician just to be sure, and he said,
"The only thing you can do is bang on the outdoor unit.''
I actually tried that, but I couldn't drive them away
and the breaker tripped again

Then I remembered an article in the Okinawa Times
from a few months ago

When I searched the internet, I found out that
in response to the voices of people complaining
about gecko damage, there's a guy who have created
an aroma (repellent) that keeps geckos away
through trial and error, and it has been well received

Moreover, the article even includes contact information
for the manufacturer, Mr. Nishimura.
I called him right away and he was very kind and told me, `
"There's a store in Yomitan Village that sells it！''

Yes, I went to buy it right away
Moreover, when pasted inside the outdoor unit,
this is very effective
Since then, the breaker has never tripped

Thank you to the Okinawa Times for writing this article,
to the pharmacies that carry it,
